I purchased my galaxy 5 s because I was told it was waterproof 3 meters for 30 minutes. I see now they are not saying that anymore. I got caught in a drizzle and the phone has been erratic sense and the speaker is very bad. What can i do?? Went to the store and the gal must have done an update because everything is different. What happened to the sport mode in photos?? And my photos are now not in order. Is there a way to get them in order?

I am sorry to learn that the phone now has moister damage and is acting a bit erratic. Do you have insurance on the phone? After the phone was exposed did you take out the battery of the phone to let it air out?
It is possible that the phone's software was updated as a new release has been pushed to the phone. When in the camera option, you should see an option for mode, and then an option for shot & more. Try that mode to see if it works best for you.
When you state the photos are now out of order, are you referring to in the gallery or someplace else within the phone?

One thing for the moisture is, (this is generic so all steps may not apply to your phone) Turn the phone off, remove the Sim Card and SD Card if present. Remove the Battery if removable. Fill a bowl with White Rice (uncooked) and put the phone inside the rice. Place out in a warm area (by a window with direct sunlight or something of the like). Let sit for 24 hours remove the phone wipe clean and dry and reinsert items.

I would do all of the above mentioned, but I wouldn't put it in direct sunlight. It could create more moisture inside or heat up the moisture that's already in there. I put an iPod nano in a bowl of rice after it had been washed in the washing machine and left it for 2 days just sitting on the counter; just getting sunlight through the blinds as it passed by and it now works and has for the past 2 years.

As far as the update, she might have updated your phone to the most recent version of Android, you'd know from the About Phone-Software" section in phone settings menu. Also, check the rubber seal on the inside of the battery cover. It might have gotten warped or damaged at some point when removing the battery or such.

The catch with those waterproof phones is that all the seals must be completely closed. One mistake and...
