Need to upgrade from HTC Thunderbolt; I love the fact my old phone can multitask - text while talking on the phone and has cursors to move in texting and has a great camera. I've already looked at the "top" phones and dislike them (my mother has the newest Samsung and my dad the iPhone 5) - I have played around with the LG G3 and HTC One (hate Windows) and was not impressed. Surprisingly I am down to the Moto Turbo and Sony Xperia Z3v - heard both do not multitask? I have an Apple desktop at home (Ive been an Apple desktop fan since the 80's and always hated Windows) - because I do not follow trends and not a techie person, I do not need apps or social media and do not like the trendy iPhone EVER. I have been a photographer since the film days so I am not a newbie in the creative realm as many people have driven me out of business because of their cell phones!! Anyway, OPINIONS on the Moto and Sony models????? I know the pros and cons, I am favoring the Sony a bit, but I dunno. I am concerned both do not "multi-task" - is this true??
I like the fact Costco sells Verizon phones and taxes off the cheaper price on the phone not off $700 like Verizon stores do. This $100 off for Black Friday deal - does that mean you get a phone for $100 with 2 year activation? I've been a customer since AirTouch when Verizon was just a baby and I get NO VIP perks - whats the deal?

All devices can multitask. All devices can send texts while talking. However not all devices can do voice and data at the same time.
Z3v and the Turbo can't do it until the XLTE update and you are in an XLTE area. Going forward all devices(new) will be the same.

The HTC One M8 comes in two flavors. An Android version (the original option) and then a Windows phone version.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
