When my phone does the device health check, it tells me that there is a connectivity issue. When I click it I get a screen that tells me "your phone could be on a better network. your phone can't automatically switch to a faster network if it's available. You're better off in lte/cdma or global modes for better signal strength.". When I click the button at the bottom that says "see settings", it just takes me to the general settings page, rather than the relevant page for changing the setting.
I've looked at the network settings and don't see anywhere I can adjust the network mode.

We're sorry to hear you are experiencing a fluctuating connection to the network. When this issue arises we recommend going into your Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset all settings > Reset Settings until the phone powers off on its own. Please allow it 2 to 5 minutes to restart, this will not erase your information, but it will revert any changed settings back to their original state. We will be sending you a Private Note to follow up on the issue.

Laura @ "VERIZON CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Please explain how resetting my Settings is going to make it possible to change "NETWORK SETTINGS" and be able to access a faster Network as the "Verizon Health Check" states:
"YOUR PHONE CAN'T AUTOMATICALLY SWITCH TO A FASTER NETWORK IF IT'S AVAILABLE YOU'RE BETTER OFF IN LTE/CDMA or GLOBAL MODES FOR BETTER SIGNAL STRENGTH."
When I then go into Device Settings ~ Connections ~ Mobile Networks ~ Netwok Operators ~ IT IS SET AUTOMATICALLY AND NOT ABLE TO BE CHANGED.
SO PLEASE, ONCE AGAIN EXPLAIN HOW RE-SETTING SETTINGS IS GPING TO CHANGE WHAT I HAVE JUST EXPLAINED TO YOU. PLEASE FO AS I AM HERE PATIENLY WAITING.
THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE.

I am currently having the same issues. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. My phone system updated last week and my connection has been terrible since. I went outside not long ago and it completely went out. Just an x Up top where the signal bars are. I can only type this right now bc I had to turn on my wifi to connect. I get the same messages as the others described. When you click the option it gives you to see settings, it takes you to the general phone settings. Then when you get to the network page it does not give you an option to change the Network mode. My phone gets my locations wrong very often but never goes into 5G UW, ever. Nut that is what itvhas been in since the update and now it works even worse. Any help would greatly be appreciated
