At high quality it uses 320 kbps which is roughly 150 MB per hour.
If you reduce quality, it will reduce data usage.

from what I can find the max bitrate on mobile is 192 kbps and you have to pay for that otherwise it's 64 kbps. So maybe 86 MB per hour so 2.5 GB per month at 1 hour per day. Of course the free version would be 1/3 that.

I know that it's important to know exactly how much data you will use when streaming Pandora. We have an awesome data calculator that will allow you to see how much data is used performing certain tasks, such as steaming audio. Check it out here: http://vz.to/1T9B2ey.

I sometimes use Pandora on the lowest setting. I don't notice a huge difference in quality. On the lowest setting is around 50MB per hour which translates to roughly 20 hours per 1GB.
