How do I fix the problem of my phone showing up as an unknown device when the computer tries to recognize it. It shows up as an unknown device on EVERY computer. It does not even install its USB drivers on computers that don't have them.

Have you tried manually installing the drivers from the manufacturer's website?

You might have to complete remove Tue previously installed drivers and install a fresh set to get the device recognized. I had to do that one of my phones.

forrest_canton,
We want to ensure you have the drivers you need to be able to manage your device from your computer. What device do you have? Has this ever worked for you or did this occur after a change? If this is something new, please tell us what changes were made prior to this issue.
