Phone won't charge since last update

I have a lg40 thin q, 5 days ago or so my phone had an update and has been acting up ever since. First I noticed that my phone kept shutting itself down randomly right in the middle of a phone call several times. Then I could not get it charged using the equipment my phone came with no matter what I did I could not get it to work so I plugged it into a USB port on my TV and slowly it would start to charge taking it over 5 hours! Today however I cannot get it to charge at all it would pop up and say use wireless charging or the USB audio will not work with your phone. So I had to run out and pay $20 for a new wireless charger. What is the problem? And before anyone ask I did run the security update no problem was found I actually deleted the last two apps I downloaded and that did nothing and I also put it in safe mode and it's still did nothing
