Problems with Gallery on LG G5

Is anyone else having an issue with the gallery since the last software update? I have the LG G5 and when I snap a photo, sometimes it just shows the busy icon spinning. Never saves the photo to the gallery. Also, when I open up the gallery and choose a folder, it won't show the thumbnail view of the pictures I have stored in the folder. This didn't start until verizon pushed the update out. Also, my phone asks me if I want to save the new photos to the internal memory or the SD card. It asks me that randomly when I open the camera app.
