If you are not going to support one of the BIGGEST FEATURES of the Galaxy S6 and S edge, then why the hell carry the damn phone?!?!?!? This makes no damn sense especially when other major carriers are supporting the feature that VERIZON KNEW was part of the phone before Samsung even launched it. And don't try to say it has something to do with network security because that's bull and you know it! I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way. WE NEED ANSWERS !!!!!!!!!!Verizon Wireless Customer Support

No your not the only one, alls it takes is 2 seconds to see the other 50 post on the same topic. Verizon never said they were going to offer it. Not only that only a select few banks and cards currently work with samsungs pay, and only a few places accept it. So are you and every one else going to all those websites to complain they don't accept apple pay or call your bank and say your switching banks because they don't support it? Its new. Give it time for Samsung and verizon to work out the behind the scenes stuff that you nor I will ever understand

And I don't want to hear about the only reason you got that phone was for Samsung pay. If that was THE ONLY reason you would of switched to apple a long time ago when they came out with apple pay, and it is accepted at many many many more retail locations. So just move on

Love me some Android Pay....the app works where NFC is, and the card works where NFC does not. MST is on the way out anyway.....so, SPay is kind of neat, but useless in months to come. Sometimes a company gets a great idea that takes way too long to get approved and implemented. It isn't the tech involved, because I know MST is more compatible than NFC as far as point of sale hardware goes, but the fraud liability of retailers that use MST is so much more compared to NFC, fingerprint, temp tokens, etc....Plus, if a card has a chip in it, the card must be inserted into the pad in lieu of swiping.

This is simply incorrect. You have it backwards. Samsung Pay will work at MANY more locations than Apple Pay.

Yes, my bank supports the platform and lets not forget the technology of #SamsungPay is different from Apple Pay. Samsung integrated technology that allows the phone to work with NFC-free magnetic stripe card readers.

Verizon...How does it feel for the news to announce Samsung Pay is in the U.S. for all major carriers...EXCEPT Verizon? I thought Verizon was a major carrier....guess not. They charge like they are. If I'm going to pay this much each month I might as well find a major carrier that will allow me to use the features available with my phone. AT&T, looks like I'm coming over to you.

If you switch carriers and sell your phone just to have this one feature that will be outdated in the course of less than 2 years...if you bought a $700 phone for ONE feature...IDK what to say.

I wouldn't say it was the only reason I bought the phone. I had the Note 3 and was wanting something a little smaller, but with a lot of features and a great camera. The S6 Edge has this. I've been using LoopPay for months and absolutely love it, so of course I was excited and looking forward to using Samsung Pay from my phone. The biggest disappointment for me is, I was REALLY looking forward to using Samsung Pay with the new Samsung Gear S2, but if Verizon isn't going to support it on a phone, I doubt they support it with the wearables.

Actually, there will be thousands of retailers who will not update their credit card terminals for years or ever. So, it's not accurate to say MST will be out dated. By the way Snn5, if you work for Verizon, please indicate the same in these discussions. Thanks
