Recent update is terrible.  Losing apps, screen moving, alphabet on contacts has disappeared...The list goes on and on.  This update stinks!!!!

scrmom,

Sorry to hear that you have been having trouble since the recent update. Have you tried powering the device off for 30 seconds and back on? Could you tell us what model phone you are having this trouble with?

Yes I have tried powering it off and back on again no difference. I lost

apps from my menu and battery is not lasting eight hours so now I have to

bring a charger every where I go. My phone is a Droid Razr Max. Any

suggestions would be great.

I hate updates because of the constant changes I have to get used to which often are not to better my phone experience. But this most recent update is really a doozy. For starters one of my calendar items has my long notes I keep, but since the update it keeps refreshing when I type and I have to go look for the word I'm typing at every other letter i type. I'm losing my mind with frustration over this since I'm in this item frequently. Secondly, my cell service is much worse!! Seriously? This company I always bragged about having good cell service I can't pride you all over in anymore.  I need to buy a cell booster just to reach service in my own home now. Thirdly I have to keep signing into Facebook & Messenger and it's also telling me repeatedly that I need to uninstall an app. Plus the autocorrect has gotten worse and Google voice doesn't work half the time. The spacing of words isn't working as well and there's a few other things i can't remember, and then all of the repositioning of emojis, tools, and appearances...is that really necessary? I feel bad for the elderly who struggle as it is with new technology. Please please stop creating updates unless it's truly  a benefit for your customers and has been thoroughly tested before throwing it out to us like a game of chance.

S10. It was more of a comment. I don't expect anyone to help all of these issues unless you can help me undo the last update so I can go back to where I was.

We have two galaxy 4's and the recent update is sucking the life out of them.

Why?

Need a resolution quick.

hunnij, Lollipop should definitely be making things sweeter, not making things tougher. Is this a battery issue? Have things stabilized since running the update? Do both phones average about the same amount of time off a full charge?

About recent Lollipop update Software Version LRX22C.I545VRUG OC1.

After the update my Galaxy S4 does not stay connected to my car's bluetooth. When I turn on my 2014 Lexus IS 250 the phone gets connected via bluetooth as it normally does. But after a minute it disconnects by itself. I tried removing the device from the car's bluetooth and adding it again but it stills disconnects. If I try to manually connect it works the first time but after another minute it disconnects again and after that it doesn't let me connect it again unless I turn the car off and on. It was working fine before the update.

Wilrod82, the safety that handsfree calling provides through bluetooth is very important. Sorry to hear of the issues you are encountering after the recent update. You have definitely done some great troubleshooting thus far. I recommend deleting the sync/connection from your phone as well.

I also recommend checking with your Lexus car dealership to see if there is a new update for your IS250's audio hub. The Bluetooth stack currently installed may be causing an issue with your phones stack as Lollipop has likely updated the drivers too.

Keep us posted!
