WHERE IS THE NEW LG G8X WITH DUAL SCREEN????!!!!!
LG just released their LG G8X with Dual Screen at a great price of $800 but it's only being carried by 2 cell phone carriers: AT&T and Sprint.
C'mon Verizon, what's the deal???!! Please don't force me to jump ship here!! There's thousands of Verizon customers wanting this phone for it's dual screen capabilities and the only other phones that can do that are Samsung Galaxy Fold (not carried by Verizon so has to be purchased unlocked and paid at full retail price) and the LG V50 (the dual screen version is only available in South Korea).
Will Verizon be bringing the LG G8X Dual Screen to it's paying customers or do we need to leave Verizon and switch to AT&T or Sprint to get this phone??
AT&T is sketchy and Sprint is a joke. I certainly wouldn't switch off Verizon to have a gimmick phone.
Agreed! I'm definitely interested in this phone.
But what I really want to know is whether the phone has Verizon bands and can be operated on the network. It has CDMA for Sprint so I'd assume it would.

If I buy the LG G8X ThinQ UNLOCKED from Amazon or BestBuy, will it work properly with the Verizon network without any issue to internet, talk or text messaging services?
According to LG, the Unlocked G8X Thin-Q is compatible with the Verizon Network. If you check the reviews of this phone on the Amazon and BestBuy sites, there are Verizon Subscribers that already bought this phone, and they have no issues.

Currently, The LG G8X is an exclusive phone which is only being sold by AT&T and Sprint. As usual, AT&T always manages to stay one step ahead of Verizon by having EXCLUSIVE DEALS on the 2 HOTTEST ANDROID PHONES on the market today; The Samsung Galaxy Fold and The LG G8X.
The good news is, you can purchase the LG G8X UNLOCKED (Verizon Compatible) On Sale at BestBuy for $699.99. I've been researching this phone for the past few weeks and I'm very impressed with the Specs. This phone is definitely the BEST OPTION against paying $2000 for an UNLOCKED Version of the Samsung Galaxy Fold.

I definitely agree! I currently have the v40 and am very desperately wanted the v50 dual screen but the 2nd screen wasn't available in the US. I love Verizon, please don't make me leave!!
I can't understand why Verizon would not offer this phone, seeing they offer other LG phones... Some may say this is a gimmick phone, but I would find it very useful and it appears to be a lot more useful than the other LG phones Verizon offers... For me, if they do not offer this phone, I am going to switch carriers!!!

Instead of waiting around on Verizon; why not just buy the Unlocked version of this phone?

Comparison of: LG G8X Thin-Q vs New Samsung Galaxy Flip-Z.
The Galaxy Z-Flip costs $1400 while the LG G8X only costs $900 (with Dual Screen Attachment)...The specs on both phones are very similiar except for LG having a better camera and battery, while the Galaxy Z-Flip lacks EXPANDABLE STORAGE....The G8X is still the Better phone for the money!!
