Updated my G3 to Marshmallow. The next day I got a notification that the SD card (that i have had in the phone for a year without any problems) is not working. Did a factory reset, tried it in safe mode, tried other SD cards, tried reformatting card, but still does not work. Took it to the Verizon store to see if they could fix it. They said it is probably a hardware problem and it is out of its warranty. But GOOD news! I am eligible to enrole in the protection plan for only $11 a month. What a joke. My contract ends in November and they want me to pay essentially $99 to fix my phone that was working fine until my OTA update to Marshmallow. I am thinking it may be time to switch to a new carrier in November. Anyone else have this happen?
