So I just had another live chat with Samsung and they have confirmed that the EC03 android 2.2 continuum build was made and sent to Verizon and it is up to Verizon to send it over the air to continuum users. Verizon will neither confirm or deny this. Why has the update not been made available to your continuum customers Verizon?

The only recourse that Continuum owners have is to file complaints with the proper agencies. This takes the question of responsibilty out of the forum and to the right people.

Look at this:
Apparently, Google and Verizon (among others) have promised timely Android updates up until 18 months after a phone is released. And this story was from May.
Timely? Good joke.
What I don't understand is that the update is made (first of all, it was already leaked out and second of all, it has been confirmed multiple times by Samsung customer service agents) and Verizon isn't releasing it. I don't know why they entered this agreement and still refuse to release the updates. I have already filed a complaint with the FCC and BBB. Hopefully, there will finally be some results before the 18 month period is up.

Actually... People assume too much into that...
If people actually read everything and understood everything... Google PLANNED to start doing this with ICS, and it isn't a trade secret. All of the older devices were not affected by this change... You have to go through the whole press conference to understand it and NOT just a cliff notes when key sections could be left out.
