It is very frustrating to find out that Verizon removed the following standard APPS and functionality.

Optical Reader

Screen Capture

Auto Correct

Block Services

How can Verizon charge me the same amount for a phone that does less than it should!

Can you still do the screen capture with by holding the power button and volume down button at the same time for about 10 seconds?

Maybe that is why it took them so much more time to get their S4 on the market but then there is a few things that the S3 owners don't have that others on other carriers do.  Why would that be frustrating it seems to happen on all phones which are on other carriers.  This is way we are supposed to be pleased with VZW I guess.

After many many attempts I was able to get it to work by holding the power button and home button but I have to take it out of the case

Are you say Verizon DID remove features from the S3 also?

They removed the Blocking Mode and the Multi-Window feature.  We may still get the Multi Window thing but I am not holding my breath.  They do this with most VZW phones.  We also don't have Google Wallet.  If we want ISIS we have to go to a corp-store and get a new SIM or we don't have that either.  VZW don't even sell us the Samsung 3000 mAH extended battery for the S3 w/the new battery door.  Go to a store and ask them about it.  They know nothing.  Plenty of complaints about this sort of things with the S3 as well as weak signal strength. Just google it you will find plenty of those complaints about VZW and the S3.  A tiger can't change it strips just cause they ad a new model phone to their line up.

My S4 has the Multi Window and I just found out how to use it.  I found the info on page 30 of the user manual.
