Gmail was fine in lollipop 5.1.1 Since the update to Marshmallow 6.0 gmail is very very slow to sync. I have sync on. Ive done a lot of whats on the web. Still no good.

I uninstalled the gmail app update. It seems to be working right now. I will check with wifi once i get home. The gmail update is the problem..
The Gmail app update is definitely the problem for sure. Im running gmail app version 5.5. 101804505.. Now without the update and everything is fine
Ok i reinstalled the update to see if it gives me problems. It didnt. Maybe when i updated it the first time it got corrupt being i was updating about 10 apps at once..
