Something Went Wrong Error Message Pop Up

Hi.  I am getting a pop up on my motorola android phone all the time.  It says Something Went Wrong  Please wait a moment and try again.  If the problem persists try logging in.  Retry.  I think it may be related to the Cloud, but I am not sure.  It is really really annoying.

I have been having the same problem for some time.  Went to the local Verizon store, and no help. The cloud seemed to be the problem for me too.  I went into the Verizon app on my phone and it recommended I syc the clock.....I did and haven't seen the pop-up since....hope this does the trick.....

smlmdi we'll get it working again! What phone make/model do you have? To make sure I'm clear, you've noticed the pop up occurs when using Verizon Cloud? If not, when are you receiving this error message?

This is NOT a device issue.  It is an issue with the latest version of Verizon Cloud.  I reverted back to the factory installed version and everything works fine.  My guess is that if you changed the account password, it will start failing.  For those of you who are only experiencing this issue on wifi, it is most likely due to the app settings.

After I reverted to the original version, I changed my password, confirmed the original version still worked, then upgraded to the latest version.  Everything is working fine now.

Hey Verizon support, how is it that I may have figured this out in 5-10 minutes while there are messages going back a good week or two minimum with absolutely no solutions or suggestions from your end?  This is something that should have NEVER made it out to the live environment for consumer use.  Actually, this is something that should have been covered in the most basic regression tests for the app (if you do any testing).

I've been getting the same error message. It pops up constantly when I'm in the middle of doing something else totally unrelated to the cloud. Please help!

In order to properly troubleshoot, we need the exact message.

What are you doing to specifically get that message? Or is it happening out of nowhere?

Exact message:

"Sorry, something went wrong.  If the problem persists, try logging in again."

RETRY?

Google reports this happening across android and IPhone products.   Seems to be a Cloud server issue that Verizon is staying tight lipped about, only telling customers to disable the Cloud that they're paying for.  Classic answer.

I be sitting over here with my hands covering my eyes too, Verizon.  Problem fixed.....NOT!!

If I am signed on to any wi-fi, the message pops up.

Let's keep your device error message free! Which specific Motorola Android are you currently using? Do you have information on the Cloud? Is the device set up to sync? You can check this information via Settings > Cloud

You could try deleting the Cloud cache.

App Drawer > Settings > Apps > All > Cloud (Verizon Cloud) > Stop > Delete Data
