Texts from iphone users delayed

I need help with delayed text messages from friends and family with iPhones. The messages are hours delayed, sometimes 12 hours. This has been a long time problem with Android and iPhone on Verizon. Is there a fix yet? I have a new Android A10e and use the Google messaging app.

We never like to hear that you have had issues with your text messages. Let us get a few more details from you. Does this occur with every message? Is it with ones you are sending or ones you are receiving? Is it basic text messages and/or picture and group messages?

I know that it occurs with both texts that I'm receiving and sending. It occurs with basic texts and pictures/gifs. It has happened with both group messages and messages just with one person.

Thanks Pgh317. We don't have any information about long term issues causing delays of messages between iPhones and Android devices. Have you had an iPhone in the past? Have those iPhone users tried deleting your contact and recreating it?
