Ultimately it means just as it says, the module you've attached, does not work with that phone.
If you'd like further help you will need to tell us the make/model of your phone, and the module you're trying to use with it.

I am having the same issue. I was talking on the phone, felt a buzz and then I lost my call, got the error message "The module you've attached doesn't work with this phone or isn't inserted correctly. Please use a Verizon-compatible module and check that it's inserted correctly."
I have not / was not / did not "attach a module" or anything else during the phone call. Now the phone will not reboot no matter how long I hold the switch to restart. LOCKED. Need help understanding why my phone is obviously CONFUSED! and this is my only phone so I am stuck.

We apologize for the delay, and we are here to help. I know how much we rely on our phones for everything, and getting this back to working condition is our goal here. Can you tell us the make and model of the device?
On the chance that it is the LG G5, hereโs how to remove and re-insert the battery.

If itโs another make and model besides the LG G5, then do not attempt to remove the battery.

I just had the same issue with an LG G5. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the battery and nothing. Won't charge and won't power on. I just got the phone two days ago from Asurion as a replacement.

I know we rely on our devices to work Braxian_Heals. I am sorry to hear that this is not the case. We can help and see what is going on with the phone. I know it has been two days since you posted. Were you able to get in contact with Asurion to do some troubleshooting? Has there been any physical or moisture damage on the device? Please tell me more. AmberF_VZW

This procedure worked for me. I simply took the battery out and put it back in. It looked to me as I did this as if the battery may not have been seated properly. Thanks for the tip!
