Using larger SD card

Is there any redeemable reason to use a larger SD card other than the 4GB SD preinstalled, since the Ally mainly uses internal storage/space for most things?  Will the 2.2 upgrade change this perspective at all? What size SD do you opt for if downloading a lot of music, etc.

It depends on how much storage you need. Music and pictures/videos should all go on your card and some apps use card space at times as well. And 2.2 does give you the ability to move most apps to your card. I use the 8 gb card that came with my eris and have used less than half of it. I wouldn't worry yet about getting a bigger card unless you fill it and can't talk yourself into getting rid of anything to make more room.
