Visual voicemail and Toyota Bluetooth issues

I just purchased a 2016 Toyota highlander and have paired my Galaxy S7 successfully to it via Bluetooth. Everything works great (phone calls, texting, audio streaming) except that anytime I try and listen to a voicemail from the Verizon visual voicemail app it starts the message and plays for a few seconds (3-7 sec as it varies) and then "ends my call".?? My Visual voicemail works flawlessly when not using Bluetooth though.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Congratulations on the new car. I know that can always be exciting! I’m happy to hear that you were able to get your phone to pair with the car and use it for calling and streaming and all the other features. As far as your voicemail goes, that is interesting that it is cutting out on you like that. Outside of this Bluetooth, have you had an opportunity to try it with any other devices?
