Bad battery. Bad charging port on the phone. Bad charging cable. Bad electrical outlet. It could one or several of these possibilities.

It's definitely important to be able to charge your phone,
increasepenn. Let's dig in and get some more information so we can narrow down the cause of the charging issue. Are you using the wall charger that came with your phone? Does anything happen at all when you connect the charger to your phone? When the charger is connected does the connection to your phone feel loose at all?
