Why are my Verizon Messages notifications coming in so slowly?

Message+  notifications now take up to 15 Min to get to my Smart watch. My Email and other notifications are instantaneous and sometime even come up on the watch before they come up on the phone. This used to work for the messages but a recent (not sure when) update added the delay.

I know how important it is to ensure you receive your message notifications on time mortonj. What make and model phone are you using? When did the delay start?

I am not sure, I would guess about a month ago.

Thanks for clarifying. Has there been any other connection issues you've noticed with the device and watch?

Are other devices connecting to the watch and successfully functioning?

I had to factory reset my watch and phone and the problem went away.
