Since the most recent update, my computer no longer recognizes that I have photos on my phone. How can I fix this?

I'm assuming your phone updated to the Marshmallow OS? If so, the default USB mode is now charging only. Once you connect the phone and computer with the USB cable, pull down the phone's notification shade, tap where it says USB Charging, and change it to File Transfer.

I know how important it is for you to be able to view your photos where and when you need them, KPenn. What model Android phone do you have? What operating system is your computer? Was the phone or the computer updated?
