I want to forward a text message from my phone to my email

Long-press the text message and you should get various options, including Forward.  Insert your e-mail address in the To space (or choose it from your contacts if that's an option) and press Send.

We are here to help you complete this task of forwarding your text to an email. Were you able to try the steps tikibar recommended? 

If not, what cellphone are you using, djhkwh? 

I have a Samsung S7 and when I press and hold the text, I get an option to share. When I select share I can forward it to an email.
