We want to make sure you're able to get the help you need. Are you trying to transfer the pictures to a Windows or Apple/Mac computer?

I am trying to do the same (transfer photos from LG VX6100), to a macbook pro. I have a cable that I got from Gomadic on amazon. I plug it into a USB A to USB C converter. I cannot see the phone in the finder app.
