I need to switch my old account and service to my new phone. How do I do that?

If you have prepaid, you need to call the prepaid customer service number at 1.888.294.6804 to get assistance with transferring your account to the new phone.

That is the prepaid customer service number according to the Contact Us link provided. https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/contact-us

Perhaps you could have dialed the wrong number?

I think I dialed 1-(800), rather than 1-(888)
