nokia 8v - bad phone / stuck with lemon

Hi, I (unfortunately) purchased a Nokia 8V about 8 mos ago from Verizon without researching reviews of this phone. To date, my phone has been replaced under warranty 2 x for failing to charge. From my online research, it appears that others have had issues with this model. Verizon currently does not offer any value on this phone for trade-in (no surprise given issues with this model). While I have insurance, assuming that the phone will need to be replaced multiple times over the 3 year period that I have financed its purchase through Verizon, I am reluctant to make a claim with Assurance. Has anyone experienced and resolved a similar issue with Verizon and the Nokia V8? While most (if not all) States have lemon laws for automobiles, there does not appear to be something similar in my state for consumer electronics . Am I stuck with this bitter pill?
