phone will not send plain txt messaes over wifi but will send when i disconnect wifi

for the past week i can only send messages whenever i turn the wifi off but cannot send them with the wifi on

I'm glad i can send text messages of any kind, even plain ones, without needing wifi on. What a pain in the you know what,  it would be for me having to walk around to find a wifi hotspot when i'm outdoors.

You mentioned that this has been going on for the past week. Had you recently performed a device software update or installed any new applications just prior to this happening? Which text messaging application are you using to send and receive text messages? Please let me know so that I can further assist.
