text messages not downloaded or received.

Droid Maxx purchased June 20th, 2014 already problems with receiving and sending text.  Either not downloading incoming messages or never received by those I sent to.

Does this happen while you are in a specific location? What is your ZIP code? What messaging application are you using?

I had that problem today try going a master reset that should help

Is this happening with every contact or some specific contacts? Random contacts, both when I text them and when they text me... incoming often won't download.

What is your ZIP code? 90731

What messaging application are you using? Droid Maxx Messaging.

And this is happening too soon, since I only have had this phone since June 20th, 2014.
