How do you uninstall Visual Voicemail? The uninstall icon on the applications management area is not available, on my account it is marked as selected and does not give the remove option.

Just to unpack mortb's response a bit: Verizon (like most service providers) installs a bunch of apps on the phones, Visual Voicemail being one of them. These apps can't be uninstalled or moved to the SD card. They don't actually run unless you choose to use them, but they do take up some space in the phone's internal memory.
As mortb says, this issue has been discussed to death, but since it still stalks the forum perhaps it should be considered a Zombie Issue. Many, many users would like to have the option to uninstall these apps, but since they're part of VZW's business plan, we are not holding our breath. (Well, some of us are, but it is not working too well for us .) Unfortunately, all we can do is uninstall the shortcuts from our Home screens, and maybe create folders in the Applications area to hide these unwanted apps.

Can't. It's the infamous bloatware which can not be uninstalled. Please check the thousands of threads concerning bloatware.
