So I'm due for an upgrade I used to b able to get a new phone after 2 years. And now I have to make monthly payments for a year? ? So is like leasing a phone now?
You don't have to make payments, you could always buy one outright. On the other hand, if you make all the payments, you will own it. The only time it's like leasing is when you turn the phone in so that you don't have to finish off the payment contract.
