Verizon released their version. total junk. Vzw is my provider.  They're responsible for keeping this phone working correctly.  They failed.

Verizon doesn't touch the code at all. Manufacturers have said this already. The problems you are having are also happening to similar devices not specifically on Verizon which speaks volumes.

Verizon Wireless provides the cellular voice and data connection. They don't write the OS code. Google and Samsung does. Verizon Wireless doesn't even touch the code.

What is the issue you are having? I'm sure myself or one of the other community members can locate a discussion thread on another website complaining about the same issue with a variant of the Note 3 on a different carrier. If Verizon Wireless was truly responsible for the botched update, how could they have messed up another carrier's device?

Mobile data constantly dropping making phone calls almost impossible. Phone is hot. Battery life short. Random reboots. My wife just took kitkat Ota on her sprint note 2. Same with coworker. No issues. Guy at vzw store told me this problem was with HTC LG Samsung etc. But all on verizon. What is the suggested solution to fix these major problems? Please advise!

Also cleared cache partition 3 times. Bit the bullet and did factory restore. Nada. Exactly the same except I lost a bunch of stuff from my phone.  Really wish this ota was never offered and everything would be great like it was before.

Fyi. Go to settings _ data usage_mobile data. If green check mark lags in

mobile data box you've got the bug. This update needs a fix asap as not

even an emergency call can be made.

After hard reset. Flaky mobile connection.  Random reboots. Hot. Poor battery life. Etc. Same as before reset after accepting ota update a couple of weeks ago. What's the fix vzw????
