2025.05 ~ 06: How to Upgrade to No Ads plan for Disney Bundle (No Ads for Disney+ and Hulu) after changing my Verizon plan – from 5G Play More to Unli

I had 5G Play More plan and upgraded to No Ads for Disney+ and Hulu.

But last week (4 days ago), in order to get “3-year price lock guarantee”, I was told my plan was grandfathered plan and needed to change…

I opted to go with Unlimited Plus with Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ (With Ads) perk… during the change on Chat, the agent told me that my subscriptions will be canceled, so I would need to register again.

When I told her that I have No Ads plan with both Disney+ and Hulu, she kind of gave me the instructions, but it was not clear…

So, I requested to forward me the chat transcription as they had discontinued the feature from Chat window (and in the previous sessions, I was told “Take screenshots” which is ridiculous method…

Anyway, I saw that she sent it to me, but I only received a small portion of the beginning…

And when I received the confirmation email for the updating my account, I saw:

Register your perk.

You have one or more perks that require registration, including the Disney Bundle perk. If you have an associated plan change or new device to activate, be sure that's completed first. Not sure when your perk will be ready to register? You'll receive a message with a personalized registration link when it's time.

But I haven’t received ANY message so far… ☹

So, I searched online, and there are a lot (or too many) of information, but they are not really current…

I need the instructions for the Disney+ Bundle perk with new Unlimited Plus to obtain “No Ads”!

Even though the agent said (and I received email form Verizon) due to changing the plan my subscriptions with Disney+ bundle will be cancelled, I was able to sign into each account but WITH ADS… HOWEVER, I saw that my Hulu subscription STILL had No Ads plan… 

Verizon’s FAQs in regards to this subject are useless… and so as Disney’s…

Also, a few posts saying ACTUALLY we CAN’T upgrade to No Ads any longer?!?!?!?!

Can somebody share the current and correct instructions, please?

Hi Yumiz108, thanks for reaching out. The previous plan 5G Play More did include Disney+ with no ads. However, with your current myPlan, the Disney+ perk included is the version with ads.
