Why does the call filter app keep notifying me that it hasn’t heard from me in a while click here?

This is just as annoying as getting spam calls. Just Do your job app and leave me alone. 

and when you click it then it takes you to Verizon but nothing happens.

Yes this would be annoying Verizonuser77777.  We want our app to work quietly in the background. Like you said, "just do your job". Here are instuctions for managing notifications in the app:

Call Filter - Manage Notifications
  • From a Home screen, navigate: Apps. Call Filter. .
  • Account. (lower-right).
  • Settings.
  • Tap the. Identified number alert switch. to turn on or off . Notifications are turned on by default.

Yes! I 100% agree! I get this like every 2 days which is certainly not “a while”. But there shouldn’t be this notification at all in the first place. It’s not an app that needs a regular check-in. It should just do its job as you said. Must be some glitch in a new update. And to the VZW response below, we shouldn’t need to turn off all notifications to get this to stop. That would defeat the purpose of the app.
