Trying to reset my account with Zelle and I am unable to receive an authentication message from Zelle. Zelle customer service said it is likely because my carrier has Zelle's phone number blocked. It is not on my blocked numbers list.
Does verizon automatically block some phone numbers thinking they are spam calls? Can I have them unblock specific numbers?

Great question. Verizon uses several systems to block calls that are not wanted from spam calls to fraud calls. We do not actively block any numbers from sending text messages. Are you able to get authentication messages from any other services? ~Peter
