How many claims can you make a year on insurance? And how does it work if you are still paying for the phone?

I would just like to know how many claims you can make in a year for an individual plan. Also does it matter if you are still paying on the phone? This would be for data issues such as dropped messages and calls with no explanation and failed troubleshooting
