When trying to access my vmail from a phone other than mine, the keystokes are not recognized by vmail. I can hear the tones but the voicemail does not react. Therefore I cannot access my vmail if my phone is not with me. I have replicated the issue with my wife’s phone / vmail and have the same behavior. All of the suggested resets have been tried (network, phone) with no success. Any ideas are appreciated.

The Verizon support team is impossible to reach. This has been in the queue since 11/29 and replied to many times by Verizon via email without calling without setting a time to talk or troubleshooting. Just email replies from Verizon asking me if my problem has been resolved. It appears all that matters is clearing their email inbox.
I am moving to another a carrier.
