Unable to cancel Disney Plus

I have been unable to cancel Disney Plus for months now. I signed up for the free trial when I upgraded my plan and forgot to cancel before the free trial ended. I found where I could cancel it under "Services and Perks" but I have repeatedly received an error message that says "We encountered an error while processing your request. Please try again later." I have contacted customer service several times. One person said it was cancelled, but I am still being charged. Another rep put a ticket in, but I never heard back. I put a support ticket in myself and it has been two weeks of nothing. It should not be this hard to cancel a subscription. Has anyone else had this issue? I am about to cancel Verizon altogether just to resolve this.
