Under VZW's family plan, non-owner phone #s' caller IDs show owner's name.

How can the other numbers, under the owner's family plans, show their own names like (mom's and kids' names)? A couple days ago, I changed the name (used to shows owner's name) in each iPhone in VZW owner account so it wouldn't show the original name. Does it take a very long time to update or something?

Hi Ant, thank you for reaching out for details on updating the outbound Caller ID's. 

"When I make changes to my Share Name ID, how long does it take for the changes to take effect?

 

It can take up to 24 hours for a Share Name ID change to take effect."

Thanks. I had to enroll in this. I was changing the names in device mangement in VZW account.

Not yet. Spectrum cable landline phone and with https://calleridtest.com still showed the account owner's original name. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Strange. https://myvpostpay.verizon.com/ui/acct/ao/shareName didn't even update from last week. I tried again, logged out and back in, and still saw the old name. So I tried it in My Verizon's iOS app to fix it. I rechecked the caller IDs about 30 minutes later and saw the correct name finally. Why didn't it update in my Firefox web browser in my 64-bit W10 Pro PC? Or is the web site glitchy?
