I recently purchased a Verizon pre-paid, along with $100 of minutes that were to last for a year. When I check my balance it says I need to add more by October, approx. 6 months from initial purchase. I won't need more by then as the phone is hardly used. Anyone know the deal on this?

To reach our Prepay Team, please dial 888-294-6804 from a number other than your prepaid phone. When prompted, enter your prepaid phone number. Then press 4 (for questions or to change something), then 5 (for Store Locations or Billing Questions), then 4 (for Customer Service Rep) and then enter your pass code for your account. If you do not know the pass code enter in four zeros. Then the system will transfer you to a Prepaid representative. You may also dial *611 from your Verizon Wireless prepaid device to reach a representative.

Update - I called as suggested and the representative changed my account so I did not need to purchase more minutes until the one year anniversary date, unless of course I need them. I'm a little disappointed that I had to go to this effort to get what was originally promised, but it seems that extra vigilance is required in everything we purchase from phone, internet, and TV providers these days. Everyone is out to make an extra buck.
