I paid off my phone to get on a prepaid family plan. Been on the phone with dirtty Verizon for over 10 hours, talked to 10 different people and still my dang phone isn't on prepaid. Verizon keeps billing me for a phone like it isn't paid off $130 per month. I hate this cruddy customer service and never get the plan I ask for.
That is a mouth full. If your phone is truly paid off, Then close/cancel the postpaid account and activate you phone on a prepaid account via the website. Never even have to contact customer service.
