Changing phone numbers from one phone to another on a plan

I have 4 phones on my plan.One of them is on a month to month deal at this point. I would like to drop that phone from my plan and take the number from that phone and put it on one of the other phones I have on my plan. Can this be done?

No, the contracts are tied to their specific phone number and such changes can't be made like that.
