Charging policy

I am headed out of the country for 12 days.  I chose an international plan which charges me for an entire month (understandable).  However, because I am leaving a day before my regular billing date, Verizon would charge me for 2 full months.  For the same 12 days.   Brilliant way to really antagonize your customer base.

All Prepaid Plan changes always require another payment.  Always best to wait till the day of monthly renewal if possible.  But, I have no idea why they double charge...not exactly fair.
