How do I remove the Verizon Usage message when I make phone calls?

When I make a call, I dial and then Verizon comes on w/a short message telling me my current usage and then the phone rings at the number dialed.

I don't want this usage message.  I'm well aware of how to get the usage information from other sources.   How do I get rid of this message?

I just got a new phone - new to VZW - and I don't notice that kind of thing.

What kind of phone do you have?

The message that you hear is just one of many ways to help you get the most our of your device and your service. Like Gortbot asked, may I which model phone do you have? Once you share this information then we can check to see if there is a setting on the device that can disable this feature.
