Changing your mobile number should be a quick and seamless process. That this wasn't the case definitely concerns us. We are here to help make sure that your phone works as you need it to, Rockstar23. Did you process the number change online via your My Verizon? Have you tried powering off and on your mobile phone if it is a 4G device, or dialing *228 and choosing option 1 if it is a 3G phone?

I have a 4g phone . Samsung galaxy j8 I believe. I went online changed my phone number, 2 hours later still cannot make or receive calls. I tried the *228 as well and nothing. When I try to place a call it says roaming. Please help
