I got a phone from a friend and I don't know how to activate it for prepaid. I tried activating it online but it says its unavailable at the end. I tried to register and get a password sent to my phone but im not getting any messages for the password.
If possible, you may want to try dialing *228 + send from the verizon phone. Press option 1 to activate it
Is the phone your friend gave you a Verizon phone and is the phone a prepaid phone, if not you will need to call customer service at 888-294-6804 they will be able to tell you if its possible to switch it to a prepaid phone.
