Issue Adding Money to My Account

Today I went and bought a $30 Verizon Prepaid card from Family Dollar, I texted the 10 digit card code to #PMT and never got a return message to indicate that the code went through, so then I fired up mobile web a few minutes later and tried entering the code through the mobile My VZ page where it said the code is invalid.

Is there any way this can get worked out without having to spend more money on another Prepaid card?

Did you check the back of the card in the lower left  hand corner to see if  the date  expired? If it did not expire call customer service at 1-888-294-6804 or dial  *611 on the prepaid cell.

I was issued a receipt with the code on it after purchasing. I haven't tried calling customer service or *611 yet.

A quick update: I called *611 and the card code worked and my balance got updated.
