Not through Verizon. maybe through PagePlus or another Prepaid company.

You can use Blackberries and other smartphones on a prepaid plan, but you have to sign up for one of the monthly prepaid Talk or Talk & Text plans (which are identical to the contract versions, but slightly higher in cost) and also carry a data plan at all times. The only reason to use one of these phones on prepaid (rather than just setting up a postpaid accout on a month-to-month basis) would be that you have bad credit and cannot or do not want to pay the deposit.
Page Plus will not activate Blackberries on their system, and I don't know of any other prepaid providers that use the Verizon network that will allow them.
