Is there an activation fee when you start a new pay as you go plan? Does it matter if you buy the prepaid phone, like the LG Cosmos 3 or Samsung Intensity 3, here from the Verizon site or if you buy it new somewhere else?
What about second hand phones? Can those used with a pay as you go plan and would there be an activation fee?
Buying a Prepay device online or at a Verizon Store will charge activation fees. To avoid this, you can just buy a phone from a different store (Walmart). Call 888-294-6804 and have a rep assist with the activation, or just dial *22898 from the device to Activate over the air. The only payment you will need to make is whatever plan you choose
