Prepaid Phone Question

Can I use a Verizon Wireless Prepaid Phone on a Normal Verizon Plane and Account? Look at it this way Upgrading you phone can you Upgrade it with a Prepad Phone with out Prepaid Service?

You can, but you have to complete the minimum prepaid commitments required before it can be unlocked for use as a postpaid phone.

The phone is sold phone only comes with no air time no service. Are you saying would still need be used as prepaid first?
