Verizon's new prepaid unlimited plan which gives customers unlimited talk, text, and data for $80 per month without requiring a contract or credit check. Great deal huh?
However, there is one huge and misleading con to the new plan...
It does NOT include mobile hot spot or tethering.
Their website's service plan flow leads you to believe that the mobile hot spot option is included by placing a link next to "Let's get started", "I have Verizon". Once you login to your account you see the option to change your plan to the $80 per month unlimited. There is NO mention of mobile hot spot not being included.
When I signed up for this plan, everything worked extremely well.
3 days later, my mobile hot spot was deactivated.
This is false advertisement and I see numerous law suits in the works.
Not good Verizon!
I thought it was clearly stated on the website myself.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
Safelink Wireless has a TRUE unlimited plan for $40/month. Pay as you go. No commitment, credit check or contract. Can't beat that...
Gotta love clean competition in America!
